One example happening in multiple states throughout the country are the groups that conduct treks on trails and up mountains.
Surviving families unearth and donate stones that uniquely represent their loved ones.
Volunteers discover the lives of these heroes and then carry these stones and their stories across America and throughout the world.
This is one stone’s story as it realizes the significance of and the pain of what it has been chosen for.”
